Natural Wellness for Dogs, Inspired by Nature and Approved by Bob.
At Bob the Dog, we’re more than a dog wellness brand. We’re a proudly women-owned and Indigenous-owned Canadian business built on the belief that dogs deserve products that support their health, well-being, and happiness.
Based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, we offer thoughtfully selected wellness products and natural treats designed to help dogs live their healthiest lives. Everything we do is guided by a deep respect for nature, community, and the important role dogs play in our families.
And at the center of it all is our Chief Eating Officer, Bob, the dog who inspired it all.
Our Story
Like many great ideas, Bob the Dog started with love.
As devoted dog parents, we wanted better options for Bob. We were looking for natural, high-quality products that aligned with our values and supported his overall wellness, but too often we found products made with unnecessary ingredients, unclear sourcing, and a lack of transparency.
So we decided to create something different.
What began as a search for healthier choices for our own dog grew into a business dedicated to helping other dog parents find products they can feel good about bringing into their homes.
Today, Bob the Dog reflects the values that matter most to us: wellness, integrity, community, and respect for the land. Every product we offer is chosen with intention and backed by the same standards we have for our own dog.
Today that means human-grade treats made in our own kitchen, handmade leashes and other accessories, and natural wellness products for dogs. We take pride in the quality and integrity of everything we offer. We’d settle for nothing but the best for Bob, and that’s what we promise to pass on to you.

We believe our pets aren’t “just pets.” They’re an important part of our families, and they deserve the same care and attention as any other family member. Top-quality products and a high standard of customer service make it easy to live up to that every day.

We treat every customer like family. Bob believes communication is 99% listening and only 1% barking, so reach out by phone, email or social media anytime. We’ll take as long as you need to answer your questions.
When you order, we go the extra mile to get it to you fast. That might mean packing your order lickety-split or delivering it to your door ourselves. (Bob loves car rides and meeting new people!)

Our taste-tester and the dog who inspired it all.
“Woof! I’m Bob, and I live in North Vancouver with my Ma and The Guy. I was born on a farm in the Shuswap with lots of brothers and sisters. When I moved to the big city at a year and a half, it turned out I was scared of stairs, floors, doors, kitchens, cars, being alone and firecrackers. I figured it all out pretty fast. Now I’m a happy, healthy city dog with lots of friends and no fears… except maybe firecrackers.”
Carra, a.k.a. “Ma”
Always ready with a treat (and a hug).
Bob says: “Ma keeps my water bowl full and brushes me when I start looking like a raggedy hooligan. Sometimes she gives me a bath too. It’s okay, I love her anyway.”
